Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ReqGenius, a product of J. Allyn Works, at reqgenius.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

ReqGenius helps employers write job descriptions, grade resumes, and screen candidates with AI-run interviews, assessments and reference checks, and delivers reports. Candidates use the service when an employer invites them or when they apply through ReqGenius.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for the people you add to it. Keep your login links private. You must give accurate information.

Credits and payment

ReqGenius is pay-per-use. Credits are purchased in packs through Stripe and are consumed by the actions shown in the app. There is no subscription. Except where the law requires otherwise, credit purchases are non-refundable, and credits used for a completed action are not returned.

Employer responsibilities

• You are responsible for your hiring decisions. ReqGenius output is a recommendation, not a decision.
• You must comply with employment, anti-discrimination, background-check, privacy and AI-in-hiring laws that apply to you, and give candidates any notices they require.
• You must only contact people you have a lawful basis to contact, and you must honor opt-outs.
• You must not use the service to discriminate, harass or mislead, or to send unlawful or unsolicited messages.

Text messages

Texts are sent only to candidates who have opted in, and follow our SMS Messaging Program rules. Candidates can reply STOP to opt out at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

Candidate content

Candidates keep ownership of the resumes and answers they submit and grant ReqGenius and the inviting employer the right to use them to provide the service.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse, reverse engineer, overload or attempt to break into the service, or use it to violate the law.

AI limitations

AI can be wrong. Grades, summaries and transcripts may contain mistakes. Review them before relying on them.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. J. Allyn Works is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
